Robert A. McLaughlin, 62, passed away on April 20, 2023. Rob was proud of his service as a Philadelphia Firefighter and Air Force veteran. He is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen Root, his children Michael, Thomas and Shawn, and his beloved granddaughter Cynthia. Rob is preceded in death by his father, Robert F. McLaughlin but survived by his mother Norma Jean (née Hall) McLaughlin, his brother Edward (Wendy) McLaughlin, his sisters Patricia (Rob) Redhouse and Laura McLaughlin and very special nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to his memorial service on May 3, 2023 at Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19114, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Internment immediately follows at Washington Crossing National Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to a private luncheon at 2:30 p.m. at F.O.P. Lodge #5, 11630 Caroline Rd., # 3, Philadelphia, PA 19154.
