Robert M. Ethridge, known lovingly as "Fiddles," passed away peacefully on March 22, 2025, at the age of 78. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

Bob was the beloved husband of 34 years to Mary Ethridge and the loving father of Megan Ethridge, Michael Ethridge (Michelle), Shawn Crompton (Carol), and the late Patrick Ethridge and Michael Crompton. He was also a proud and devoted Pop Pop to Ryan, Casey, Gavin, and Max.

A proud U.S. Navy veteran, Bob's commitment to service continued through his career as a police officer serving the City of Philadelphia. His dedication to helping others was evident both on the job and in his personal life. In his free time, Bob enjoyed many passions, including fishing and playing golf with his close friends. He was also an avid Eagles fan, always cheering on his team with enthusiasm and pride.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19114, at 9:00 AM, followed by his service at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private.
