Robert E. France

Robert E. France, "Bob", age 70, passed away on September 10, 2026.  Bob was a retired computer programmer with various pharmaceutical companies.  He was also an avid lover of all animals.  

Bob was the beloved husband of Maryann (née Poplas).  Loving brother of David France (Susan) and brother-in-law of Raymond Poplas.  He will be sadly missed by his best buddy Bernie.  Dear uncle of many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  

Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing Thursday morning, September 17, 2026, from 10:00-10:45 A.M. at BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 9708 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19114.  Funeral Service at 11 A.M.  Interment Resurrection Cemetery.  

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to the Women's Animal Shelter would be appreciated by his family.
