Robert W. Goergen, age 65, passed away on November 28, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with renal failure. He was the beloved husband of 40 years to Maria (née Bonaccorso).

Bob was the dear brother of Carole Dellacroce (Steve Weiss) and Sharon Hartman (the late Bill); and the cherished brother-in-law of Susan Rurode (Ron) and Larry Bonaccorso (Beth). He was a loving uncle to Billy, Brent, Kristy, Paul, Cindy, Justin, Olivia, Ron Jr., and Kyle, and a proud great-uncle to Liam, Ryan, Brady, Dylan, Avery, Brayden, Keira, and Isabella. He is also survived by many cousins and extended family members in South Dakota.

A graduate of Archbishop Ryan High School, Class of 1978, Bob went on to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Ultimately, he followed his true passion and founded his own landscaping business, Bob's Landscaping. A handyman at heart— "Mr. Fix It"—Bob was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

Bob especially enjoyed gardening and took great pride in tending to his flowers and vegetables. Nothing made him happier than cooking the vegetables he grew and sharing them with those he loved. Bob always cherished the trips he took as a child to see his cousins in South Dakota. He loved both the shore and the mountains, but especially treasured his trips to Rockport, Massachusetts and more recently Ocean City, NJ with Maria. Bob also had a deep affection for animals of all kinds.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Wednesday evening from 6:00–8:00 PM at Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19114, and again on Thursday at Maternity BVM Church, 9220 Old Bustleton Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19115, from 9:00–10:45 AM, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery.
