Robert D. Jones, Jr., passed away peacefully on September 9, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Teresa (nee Salfi), and a devoted father to Robert III (Katie), Susan, and David. Robert was also a dear brother to Janet Jones, Debra Amon (Bob), Ralph Jones (Linda), and the late Richard Jones and Rodger Jones. He was the son of the late Robert D. Sr. and Janet Jones.
A proud Air Force veteran, he brought the same commitment and enthusiasm to all his pursuits. He was an avid follower of Philadelphia sports teams and UCLA, often seen cheering passionately for his favorite teams. Robert also enjoyed coaching his travel baseball team, the Delaware Angels, and sharing his love for the game and his knowledge with young players.

In addition to his family, Robert will be missed by his grandpups Gryff, Teddy, Guster, and Oakley, who brought him much joy and companionship.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Monday, September 16, 2024, at 9:30 AM at St. Katherine of Siena Church, 9700 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675-8516 in Robert's memory would be appreciated.
