Robert M. Kennedy, Sr. passed away on January 9, 2024 at the age of 63, surrounded by his loving family. Loving husband of 41 years to Kathleen (nee DeSautel), loving father of Robby (Nikki) and Crystal, adoring Pop-Pop of Aidan, Jason and Charleigh. Rob was a loving brother of James, Mary Ellen McGahan (Frances) and Michael, cousin, uncle and friend. He was preceded in death by his father, James, mother, Gladys and his sister Sandra. Rob proudly served in the US Marine Corps and was a Philadelphia Police Officer for 30 years, retired in July 2023. He loved hanging by the pool with his family, grilling, fishing, darts, horseshoes, and all things Titanic. Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Burns Funeral Home (9708 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia PA 19114) from 1:00PM-3:00PM, followed by his Memorial Service. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to in Rob's memory to the ALS FOUNDATION .
