A resident of Torresdale, passed away peacefully Friday, March 23, 2018. He was the owner of Robert Kensil Plumbing for many years. Bob was a member of Men of Malvern for over 60 years and an active member of the Catholic War Veterans. He was a long-time parishioner and volunteer at Ascension of Our Lord and St. Katherine of Siena parishes and spent many years as a member of Torresdale Frankford Country Club, where he was often caught doing flips off the diving board.

He was the son of Charles and Leanora (Welch). He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Ann (Hines); along with seven children; Nancy Albert (Ed), Robert (Maryellen), Donna Capozzoli (Matt), Charles (Jenn), John, Gerry (Cheryl), and Grace Scotto (Brian); 21 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; also survived by a sister Helen Stangler, brothers Allen (Sue) and Donald (Alida); and many loving nieces, nephews and other relatives; predeceased by his brother Charles and his sister Ruth.

Bob's viewing will be held Tuesday, March 27, 2018 from 7 to 9 P.M. at BURNS FUNERAL HOME at 9708 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia PA, and on Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. at St. Katherine of Siena Church at 9700 Frankford Avenue, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 26 Broadway, 14th Floor, New York, NY 10004, or to a charity of your choice.
