Robert K. Kurtz passed in peace to our Lord on Sept. 2 ^nd , 2018, at the age of 86. Preceded in death by his parents Joseph & Marie, his brother Joseph, and his beloved Elaine, wife for over 52 years. Bob is survived by his 3 sons Robert (Allison), Christopher (Suzanne), & Eric (Fern).  Grandchildren Alex, Morgan, Michael, Louis, Anastasia and Vivian, and two Great-Grandchildren, Natalie and Valerie.

Bob was a native of the Olney neighborhood of Philadelphia. A union carpenter by trade; he eventually was the founder of Kurtz Metals and later BK & Sons. Former long term member of the Torresdale-Frankford CC, and devoted parishioner at St. Christopher's RC Church in Somerton.

He will be greatly missed by his family, relatives, friends, neighbors and the business community.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Wednesday Eve 7-9 PM and Thursday 8:15-9:15 AM at BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 9708 Frankford Ave. Phila., PA 19114 followed by his Funeral Mass 10:30 AM at St. Christopher Church. Interment William Penn Cemetery.
