Robert T. McShane passed away peacefully on August 10, 2023 with his family by his side. Bob was a retired US Army Veteran and a retired Philadelphia Firefighter. Beloved husband of the late Mildred "Millie" McShane and dear companion of the late Betty Gilbert. Loving father of Robert (Christine), Thomas (Kimberly), and Brian (Alyssa). Adoring Poppy of Robbie, Jack, Kaeli, Nolan, Colin and Luke. Loving son of the late John and Evelyn McShane. Dear brother of Joseph, William, Cassy Robinson, Nellie Haubert, and the late Evelyn Urban, John, Jim, and Patricia Johns. He is also survived by his loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Tuesday August 15, 2023 from 9:00 AM – 10:45 AM at St. Katherine of Siena Church, 9700 Frankford Ave. Phila., PA 19114 followed by his Funeral Mass 11:00 AM. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to the Local 22 Survivors Fund, 415 N. 5th St. Phila., PA 19123 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl.
