Robert J. Meany, Sr. passed away January 27, 2021 at the age of 75. Beloved husband of the late Agnes "A" Meany. Loving father of Tricia David (Brad), and the late Robert J. Meany, Jr. Dear Pop of Robert, Lilly, and Avery. Great Pop of Roscoe. He is also survived by his sister Marge Ullmer (the late Tom), and his niece and nephew. Bob retired after many years of working with the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades, DC 21. He was an avid sports fan and a longtime ticket holder of the Philadelphia Flyers. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Saturday 9:00 AM at BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 9708 Frankford Ave. Phila., PA 19114 followed by his service at 10:45 AM. Interment Oakland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to the Gift of Life Family House , 401 Callowhill Street, Philadelphia, PA 19123 would be appreciated.
