Robert W. Wendling passed away peacefully August 9,2020 with his family by his side. He was a Army veteran. Husband of the late Janet (nee Hemmert) Wendling, loving father of Linda Meyer (Rich) Robert W. Wendling (Rita) and Cheryl Quattrone (Ed). Grandfather to Sherry, Ricky, Tyler, Paige, Christy and Michael; Great grandfather to Hailey, Olivia, Payton and Parker. Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Thursday evening August 27, 2020 7 to 8:30 PM (CDC PROTOCOL) at the Burns Funeral Home 9708 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19114 and Friday August 28, for his graveside service at Washington Crossing National Cemetery at 11 AM. Funeral procession will form at the Burns Funeral Home 9:45 AM Friday and leave for the cemetery at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory to the Cpl.
