Ron was a musician in the bands Icarus and Bounce.

Ron is survived by Lisa DeSteffano and their loving children Melissa DeSteffano, Samantha DeSteffano, Leanna Hires, Veronica Hires, and the late Andrew DeSteffano.  Pop-Pop of Jessa, Nicolette, Kamryn, Philip, and Arielle.  Brother of Jack Hires, Russell Hires, Linda Gushue, and the late Raymond Hires.
