Ryan Sherman, a cherished individual known for his kind, loving, and caring personality, left us on April 2, 2025, at the age of 35. Born on October 26, 1989, Ryan lived a life filled with tremendous passion and service towards others. Leading a life of service, not only as a member of the Mo-Town Townwatch group, but also as a volunteer firefighter with the Bensalem Volunteer Fire Department-Station 16, formerly known as Cornwells Fire Company.
Ryan was also involved with the Philadelphia Mummers, marching for more than 20 years up Broad Street. He was a marshal for 21 years with the Woodland String Band, and 3 years with the Golden Crown New Years Brigade.
Beloved son of John Sherman and Diane House (Sherman). Loving brother of Nicole Fontanetta (Sherman) her husband Mark Fontanetta and the late Andrew Sherman. Preceded in joining the lord: uncles, Kevin McGovern, William, Thomas and Joseph Halpin and grandparents Jack and Mary Sherman, Thomas and Barbara Halpin.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Wednesday, April 9, 2025, 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Thursday, April 10, 2025, 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at St. Anselm Church, 12670 Dunks Ferry Road, Philadelphia, PA, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will be held at Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem, PA.
