Samuel V. Autieri passed away peacefully on September 17, 2025, at the age of 91.

Beloved husband of Rita (née Catrini). Loving father of Michael (Katherine), Lisa Eddowes, and Laura Aileo (Michael). Cherished Grandpop to Helen, Matthew, Stephen, Daniel (Natalie), Rachael, Michele, Nicholas (Kelsey), Alyssa (Matthew), and Christopher. Dear brother of Richard (Janice) and the late Donald. Sam is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Born and raised in the Mayfair section of Philadelphia, Sam followed in his father's footsteps and worked for a time as a barber before beginning a long career in the printing business. Handy and hardworking, he enjoyed fixing things around the house and always had a curious mind with a love for reading and learning something new each day. Sam was a talented artist who enjoyed drawing and sculpting.

A man of deep faith in Jesus Christ, Sam's life was enriched by his passion for music. He played the alto saxophone in the Army band and was also a proud member of the Fralinger String Band. His devotion to family, faith, and music will remain an enduring part of his legacy.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Jerome's Catholic Church (8100 Colfax St. #1, Philadelphia, PA 19136), followed by his Funeral Mass. Interment will take place at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
