Scott J. Iriana passed away on January 20, 2026. Beloved son of Eileen and the late Ken Iriana, Sr. Loving and devoted father of Amanda Iriana-Schaeffler (Alex). Dear brother of Ken Iriana, Jr. (Rachel), uncle to K.J., cherished best friend of Gail Thomsen. Scott also remained a close friend of his former wife, Joanne, mother of his daughter, Amanda. He was survived by many loving cousins and extended family members who will miss him dearly.
Scott was someone who truly enjoyed life’s simple pleasures, especially time spent on the water. One of his greatest passions was fishing, and he found genuine joy simply being out on a boat. Whether it was early mornings casting a line or long days enjoying the calm and rhythm of the water, fishing was one of his favorite things to do. He loved all types of fishing and didn’t need much more than a boat, the open water, and good company to be content. Growing up, Scott also enjoyed water skiing, and throughout his life he cherished any opportunity to be out on the water, a place that brought him peace and happiness.
Scott was also known for being extremely handy. He could fix or build just about anything and was always available to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. A devoted Philadelphia sports fan, Scott proudly supported the Eagles, Phillies, and Flyers and rarely missed an opportunity to cheer them on. One of his favorite places to be was down the shore in North Wildwood, where he had many friends and everyone knew his name.
Music was another passion of Scott’s, especially classic rock from the 1970s and 1980s. He was also a highly accomplished dart player, competing in tournaments throughout the area and traveling to play the game he loved. Scott’s skill, competitive spirit, and camaraderie made him well known and respected in the dart community.
Above all else, Scott treasured his role as a father and friend. His memory will live on through the love he shared, the laughter he brought, and the many lives he touched. He will be remembered fondly by all who knew him and forever in the hearts of those who loved him.
