At the age of 76. Husband of the late Gloria (nee Odom); devoted father of Rita A. (Michael) Gleason, Vincent S. and the late Gloria Jean. Loving grandfather of Christy Lee Gleason, James John Gleason, Jason Brown, Patrick and Matthew Gleason. Also survived by one great grandson, Dylan Jacober. Mr. Butcher proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War, after which he became Commander of the Catholic War Vets St. Agnes Post 1132. Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing Tuesday 7-9 PM and Wednesday 8:30-9:15 AM at the BURNS FUNERAL HOME 9708 Frankford Ave. (So. of Grant Ave.) followed by his Funeral Mass Wednesday 10:30 AM at St. Agnes/St. John Church.
