Stephen J. Czepiel of Berlin NJ,  passed away May 3, 2022 at the age of 98. Stephen was the loving husband of the late Margot (Fritz). Devoted father of Diana L. Shacklett-Gilson (Glenn) and the late Michael Czepiel. He was a loving Grand Pop to Edward Shacklett (Amanda), Eric Shacklett, Elissa Gandy (Jesse), Emily McElvarr (Tyler), Michael Czepiel  and Great Grand pop to 6 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister in law Caroline Czepiel (Carl) and many nieces and nephews.  Formely of NE Philadelphia in Morrel Park, Stephen passed away peacefully at his loving daughters house. Stephen was a U.S Army retired Master Sargeant. He was a World War II Veteran and Battle of the Bulge solider, and also serve proudly in the Korean War.  Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at Burns Funeral Home ( 9708 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19114 ) from 9:30AM-11:00AM, followed by his funeral service. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
