Obituary

Steve Fowler of Morrisville, Pennsylvania was born in Keene, New Hampshire, graduated from high school in Wyomissing Pennsylvania, and received a BS in Biology from Union College in Kentucky.  Steve spent his career in Quality Assurance at Celerion, PharmaNet Development Group, and Covance.

He was predeceased by his parents Charles and Penelope Hart Fowler, of Wyomissing, Pennsylvania.  He is survived by his partner James Armitage, his brothers Peter (Debbie) of Hollywood, Florida; Jonathan (Lynn) of North East Maryland; and his sister Margaret Radermacher (Randy) of Newcastle, Pennsylvania.  He has one niece and two nephews, a number of honorary nieces and nephews, as well as grand nieces and nephews who he loved "uncleling."

Steve was passionate about plants with some in his collection more than 40 years old and others in his collection the result of his own cultivation.  Steve always had a dog, currently Kylo.

A past officer in the Audubon Society, Steve could often be found on mountain trails and beaches doing bird counts.

Steve was a man of the world, true to his beliefs, a man of kindness, compassion, and unwavering generosity. His unique ability to find something in common with everyone he met made us all better people.  Steve was ever-present in our lives. His passing has left a very large void which even with time cannot be filled.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Steve's memory to The Audubon Society - www.Audubon.org.
