Susan Brookes

Susan Brookes (nee McCann) passed away suddenly on August 21, 2026.

Loving daughter of the late Daniel J. McCann, Jr., Helen McCann Bresnahan, and William Bresnahan, Sr. Beloved wife of the late Arthur Brookes, Jr. Dear sister of Daniel J. McCann, III (the late Carol), William Bresnahan, Jr., and the late Robert McCann, Diane Gross, Thomas Bresnahan, and Mary Zielinski. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Yvonne, and many loving nieces and nephews.

Susan was a proud graduate of Nazareth Academy and dedicated 40 years of her career to working as a cashier at ShopRite.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at St. Katherine of Siena Church, 9700 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19114, at 9:30 AM, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment private.
