Susan M. Gorski (nee Szczebak)

Susan M. Gorski (née Szczebak) passed away peacefully on May 28, 2026.

Beloved wife of the late Ronald Gorski. Loving mother of Barbara Turzanski (Ted). Cherished Grandmom of Lauren White (Jonathan) and James Kernan (deceased).

Susan spent her entire life in the Philadelphia area. She lived quietly and valued the comfort of familiar routines and the independence to live life on her own terms. She fell ill last year and maintained residency at River's Edge Nursing Home.

She preferred a simple life and had few hobbies, finding contentment in everyday moments, reading, watching television, tending to household tasks or enjoying the peace and familiarity of home. Though her circle of friends was small, she appreciated those who were part of her life and the kindness they shared.

Although she will be deeply missed, Susan's love and the many cherished memories she leaves behind will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Friday, July 17, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Burns Funeral Home (9708 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19114), followed by her Memorial Service. Interment will be held privately.
