Susan L. Hines (nee Schaal) passed away with her family by her side on May 18, 2024 at the age of 65. Daughter of the late Charles and Patricia Schaal. Beloved wife of Kyran C. Hines for 47 years. Loving mother of Kyran, Timothy (Shannon), Kevin (Jessica), and Kelly Brady (James). Adoring Nana of James, Claire, Grayson, Morgan, Liam and Noelle. Dear sister of Joseph and the late Charles and Michael Schaal. She is also survived by her many loving nieces and nephews.

Susan was always known to show up with a gift in hand, she never forgot a birthday or neglected to send a card. Susan offered her creative, personal touch to each special occasion.  She was an avid fan of music and classic films. Often pictured holding a baby, she cherished her days raising kids with her close neighbors in Kensington. She enjoyed spending summers in Wildwood and making trips to the Poconos with her family. She delighted in celebrating milestones with her grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Tuesday Eve May 28, 2024 at BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 9708 Frankford Ave. Phila., PA 19114 from 6:00-8:00 PM and Wednesday at Christ the King Church, 3252 Chesterfield Rd. Phila., PA 19114 at 9:00 AM followed by her Funeral Mass 10:00 AM. Interment Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to the Padre Pio Shrine ,111 Barto Rd. Barto, PA 19504 would be appreciated.
