Theresa Marianne King passed away surrounded by the love of her family. She was the beloved wife of 41 years to the late Henry Woodall King, and a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose vibrant spirit touched everyone who knew her.

Theresa was the loving mother of Jeanette King Pentecost, wife of the late Edward Giles Pentecost; Donna King; and the late Victor B. King, husband of Lorraine King. She was a cherished grandmother to Taryn Elyse McLaughlin (Kenneth Thomas), Tierney Marie Pentecost, Christina Marie King, Kimberly Anne King, and Brian Christopher King, and a proud great-grandmother to Evelyn Greig McLaughlin, who brought her endless joy.

She was predeceased by her brother Stanley Holdowicz, and is survived by her sister Charlotte Connelly, wife of the late Kyran Connelly.

Theresa was a vibrant soul with a deep devotion to her Catholic faith. She had a lifelong love for music—especially Frank Sinatra—and enjoyed dancing, classic movies, and cozy evenings watching the Hallmark Channel. A passionate baker and cook, Theresa was famous among family and friends for making what many considered the world's best chocolate chip cookies. She also enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, and spending time with her beloved Siamese cats.

Theresa worked over the years at Spangler's Envelope Factory, Whitman's Chocolates, and Estée Lauder, taking pride in her work and the friendships she formed along the way. Some of her happiest memories were made during summer vacations with her family at Long Beach Island, a place she truly loved.

Above all else, Theresa loved her family and cherished every moment spent with them. Her warmth, kindness, and joyful spirit will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Christ the King Church (3252 Chesterfield Rd, Philadelphia, PA 19114) from 10:00AM-11:00AM, followed by her Funeral Mass. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
