Theresa McCarthy

Theresa McCarthy passed away peacefully on July 11, 2026.

Beloved mother of Tina McCarthy. Cherished Me-Mom of Taitlyn. Dear sister of Sweetie Kucera (Frank) and Mike Morris (the late Eileen). Theresa is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews.

Theresa dedicated more than 30 years of her career to Bell Telephone, where she worked as a customer service representative before continuing her career with Verizon. She took great pride in her work and the many friendships she made throughout the years.

In her spare time, Theresa loved spending time at the beach, especially in Wildwood, where she found relaxation and happiness. She was known for her outgoing personality and infectious spirit, always being the life of the party. Theresa especially enjoyed hosting family and friends, creating countless memories filled with laughter, love, and togetherness. Above all else, she treasured the time she spent with her family, especially her beloved daughter and granddaughter.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Friday, July 17, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Burns Funeral Home (9708 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19114), followed by her Memorial Service. Interment will be held privately.
