Thomas C. Borek, Sr. passed away July 17, 2023. Beloved husband to Betty (nee Berger). Loving dad to Tina Borek (Kevin Reilly), Timothy (Germaine), Taylor, and the late Thomas Jr. Dear Pop to Shawn, Merissa, Ashley, Shane, Timothy, Tommy, Jazlyn, Trevor, Kaitlynn and Big Pop to Maeve, Shawn, Noah, Stella, Saige, Hudson, Tommy and Baby Borek.

Tom was a very proud self-employed Mason for over 52 years specializing in historical restoration and brick work with his company T. Borek & Sons. Tom always took pride in running his family business and at one time employed all 3 of his sons.

Tom found joy in spending time with his family and with his best bud and dog, Jakey. In his younger days he loved barbecuing, partying, and playing darts with all of his family and friends. The shore was a source of peace for Tom. He loved spending time in Mystic Islands with his wife and their rowdy crew, listening to the oldies, flounder fishing, and crabbing.

Above all, Tom was so proud of the family he built and every accomplishment they've made. He loved them deeply and they loved him back. He will always be missed and never forgotten.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Friday, July 21, 2023, at Burns Funeral Home (9708 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia PA 19114) from 6:00PM-8:00PM and again Saturday morning July 22, 2023 from 9:00AM-10:30AM, followed by his Funeral Mass at St. Katherine of Siena Church (9700 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia PA 19114) and burial at Resurrection Cemetery.
