Thomas Hawthorne "Hawk" passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side. He was a retired operating engineer for local 542. Husband of the late Jean (nee Palantine). He was preceded in death by his beloved pit bull Jonesy. Loving father of Cynthia Hawthorne, Linda Wiser (Adam), Timothy Hawthorne (Patricia), Jeanie Hawthorne-Jones (Kenneth), Jenny and Thomas Hawthorne. Son of the late Thomas Hawthorne and Margaret (nee Gong). Pop Pop Hawk to Julia, Shaylin, Lila, and Graysen. Devoted brother of Margaret Horn and Sandra Reardon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Friday 10:30AM to 12:45PM at Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19114. Followed by his Funeral Service at 1:00PM. Internment Our Lady of Grace Cemetery.
