A veteran of the U.S. Navy who served during WWII and a retired employee of Bell Telephone.  A friend to everyone he met.  Loving husband of the late Joan.  Beloved father of Thomas J., Stephen W. (Kathleen), David J. (Sue), Andrew (Peggy), Jeffrey L. (Debra), Timothy J., and Amy L. (Sandee).  Also survived by 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and his sister in law Rosemary Kirst and his cousin Laura Proctor.  Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing Thursday evening, 6-9 P.M. and Friday morning, 8:30-9 A.M. at BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 9708 Frankford Ave. (So. of Grant Ave.).  Funeral Mass 9:30 A.M. at St. Katherine of Siena Church.  Interment Washington Crossing National Cem.  In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
