Vincent passed away September 4, 2021 at the age of 92 after a long and full life of living it his way.
Vince was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals and Philadelphia Athletics as a pitcher. An entrepreneur, h
e was self employed his whole life owning several different businesses.
He enjoyed golfing 8 months out of a year for most of his life, most recently at John F. Byrne Golf Course. He had a large circle of friends and enjoyed reminiscing about the old days. Vince composed many poems over his lifetime, creating them for family and friends, as well as to vividly capture his own life events and experiences. One poem in particular, "Dad Gave Me A Baseball", is in the Cooperstown Baseball Hall of Fame. He was also featured in an article in Golf Digest (March 2013 issue) by Editor Jerry Tarde, his friend.
Loving husband of the late Jean (nee Mazzei). Beloved father of Maria Dwyer and John Castagna. Grandpop of John Dwyer, Jr. and Justin Dwyer. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
