Vincent T. Picariello, Sr., age 85, passed away on October 6, 2026. Vince was a retired architect for the city of Philadelphia. One of his notable designs was the structure for the mass at Logan Circle for Pope John Paul, II's visit in 1979.
Loving husband of the late Lorraine (née McLaughlin). Beloved mother of Vince, Jr. (Denise), David (Leigh), and the late Jeffrey. Pop-Pop of Andrew, Makayla, Zachary, David, and the late Vincent. Dear brother of John (Helen) and the late MaryAnn Cormier. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet his family on Monday, October 12, 2026, from 9-10:15 A.M. at BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 9708 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19114. Funeral Service 10:30 A.M. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to the Alzheimer's Association, would be appreciated by his family.
