Virginia "Ginny" Wright (Wolf)

February 7, 1944 - December 8, 2023 With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Virginia "Ginny" Wright (Wolf), a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Ginny departed this life peacefully on December 8, 2023, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on February 7, 1944, to Raymond and Florence Wolf, she was known for being a tough cookie—loving, loyal, and a hard worker. Ginny had a unique way of showing her love, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met.

Her journey through life was marked by unwavering kindness, strength, and a "quiet" way of caring for those around her. Ginny's presence brought comfort and joy to many and will be deeply missed. Ginny is survived by her loving husband, Daniel Wright; her children, Christopher (Kristin), David, and Kim; and her adored grandchildren, Isadora, Lucas, Camilla, Lincoln, and Antonia. She was predeceased by her siblings Raymond (Joan), Florence, Nancy (Bill), and Teddy (Pam).

Ginny is survived by her siblings Charlie (Judy), Roy (Shirley), Elinor (Tony), and Milly, as well as her sisters-in-law Rose (late Jimmy Sr.) and the late Harriet. She is fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews: Irene (Randy), Amy (Mike), Jeff, Jimmy, Frankie (Chris), and other great nieces and great nephews, alongside countless friends who were touched by her spirit and good nature. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Monday, December 18, 2023, from 10:00 am to 11:15 am BURNS FUNERAL HOME 9708 Frankford Ave. Phila. 19114 followed by her service at 11:30 am. Ginny will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery, As we say goodbye, we take comfort in knowing that Ginny's legacy of love, care, and hard work will continue to live on in the memories of those she touched.
