Virginia, formerly of the Torresdale section of Philadelphia, died peacefully on June 1, 2017 in Newtown, PA at the age of 93.  Predeceased by her sister, Mary Elizabeth (Charles E. Stahlecker, Sr.), and her niece, Beth.  Loving and beloved aunt, Virginia is survived by her nieces, Mary Gambino (Greg), Fran Stahlecker, Kaye Stahlecker, and her nephew, Charles E. Stahlecker, Jr. (Pat).  Virginia is also survived by great nieces and nephews.  Virginia worked for many years as an editor and staff writer for Resin Review, a business journal for Rohm and Haas Company in Philadelphia.  She received a BS from Temple University.  A life-long active alumnus for her high school alma mater, Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls, Virginia also volunteered for many years cooking meals for Aid for Friends.  Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Thursday, June 8, 2017 at 8:30 AM, Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Ave., Phila., followed by her Funeral Mass 10 AM, St. Katherine of Siena Church, 9700 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19114.  Interment - Resurrection Cemetery, 5201 Hulmeville Rd., Bensalem, PA 19020.
