Virginia A. Smith "Jean" (nee Birkenbach) passed away peacefully on August 26, 2025, at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Anthony Smith. Devoted mother of Bonnie Frame (Dan), and the late David Smith and the late Eric Smith. Cherished G-Mom to four granddaughters and proud GG to seven great-grandchildren. Jean will also be lovingly remembered by her dear friend Jocelyn and her extended family and friends at UMC Collingswood.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Wednesday, September 3, 2025, 10:00 AM Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, followed by her Funeral Service 11:00 AM. Interment will be held at Lawnview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jean's memory may be made to Samaritan Hospice, P.O. Box 71425, Philadelphia, PA 19176.
