Walter S. Blaker, Jr. "Scotty" passed away peacefully with his family by his side on September 19, 2023 just four days short of his 85th birthday.  A proud US Navy Veteran. Beloved husband of the late Betty "Dolly" Blaker. Loving father of Darlene Burke (Jeffrey), and Joanne Blaker (Frederick Calandra, Jr. "Jay"). Dear Pop Pop of Jessica (Michael), and Rachel. Scotty was an avid fisherman and had recently celebrated 60 years in the Carpenters Local Union #1856. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate his life on his birthday Saturday September 23, 2023 at BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 9708 Frankford Ave. Phila., PA 19114 at 11:00 AM followed by his Service at 12:00 PM. Interment St. Dominic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 399 Market St. Suite 102, Phila., PA 19106 would be appreciated.
