Obituary

Walter David Iacono passed away on February 4, 2023, at the age of 90. Beloved husband of the late Mary (nee Ferry). Loving father of Kevin (Lisa), Eileen Christie (William), Christopher (Kelly Anne) and David. Brother of Ruth Yanus and the late Vincent Iacono. Dear grandpop of Kevin (Gina), Vincent, Connor, William Christie III (Stephanie), Regina Pfeiffenberger (Jeffrey), Jessica Keough (Timothy), Christopher Jr., Gabriella, Maria, Nicole, Matthew and the late Dominic and 9 great grandchildren.

Walter was an Army Veteran who served during the Korean War and a member of the American Legion Post 754 Rhawnhurst-Castor. He is also survived by his many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Monday February 13, 2023, BURNS FUNERAL HOME 9708 Frankford Ave., Phila. Pa. 19114 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and also Tuesday from 9:00 A.M. to 10:15 A.M.; followed by his funeral mass at 10:30 A.M. St. Katherine of Siena Church. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers family prefers donations in his memory to Wounded Warrior Project , P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516 would be appreciated.
