Walter A. Taylor

Walter A. Taylor passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on September 18, 2026, at the age of 97. Walter was a proud Korean War Navy Veteran and Vietnam War Air Force Veteran. He worked as a machinist model maker until his retirement.

Beloved husband of 71 years to the late Mary Ann Taylor (nee Allan). Loving father of Mary Marx (Marty) and the late Diane Rosegrant. Beloved grandfather of James T. Shupe (Peggy) and great-grandfather of Nicolette and Justin Shupe. Dear uncle of Janet Drushall, Barbara Moffett and Maureen Auman.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Friday, September 25, 2026, at St. Katherine of Siena Church, 9700 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19114, at 9:00 AM, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM.

Interment will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Rd., Newtown, PA 18940, at 10:00 AM. The funeral procession will form and leave from Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19114, at 8:45 AM.
