Whitney Winfield Watson III, a beloved figure in New Hope, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on May 23rd, surrounded by those he loved.

Born on February 7, 1947, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Whitney was a devoted father, grandfather, partner, and friend. He was preceded in death by his parents, Whitney Winfield Watson II and Daisy (Belcher) Watson, his sister, Deborah Watson, and his cherished wife, Elisa (Bilger) Watson.

Whitney is survived by his three sons, Whitney, Christopher, and Kerry Watson, as well as his grandchildren, who brought him immense pride and joy.

In his later years, Whitney found solace, companionship, and laughter in the presence of his long-time partner, Sharon Wilkens. They shared many meaningful moments together, and he was lovingly remembered by her three children: John Wilkens, Lauren Wilkens, and Alexa Wiggins.

Whitney was known for his warm and outgoing personality, with an even bigger heart. He had an uncanny ability to share unforgettable stories that left a lasting impression on everyone he met. A lifelong lover of the Jersey shore, he spent every summer enjoying time on his boat, laughing with friends and family.
