William A. Siegrist
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on February 10, 2025, at the age of 82.

Bill, beloved husband to Dee (nee Zell), loving father to Judy Walter (Kevin), stepfather to Chris Mitchell (Amanda) and Mimi Woltemate (Michael), and devoted "Pop" to Christopher, Jack, Emily, Mike, and Rachael.  He was also a cherished uncle to Penny Sullivan, Kathy Natal, and Scott Siegrist, and leaves behind a large and loving extended family.

A proud and hardworking lineman for Henkles & McCoy, Bill spent many years as a member of Local 126. His dedication to his work was matched only by his love for his family. In his younger years, Bill was an avid tennis player, and later in life, he enjoyed traveling with Dee, especially to St. John's in the Virgin Islands and to Ireland. One of his greatest joys was coaching his grandsons in various sports, with baseball holding a special place in his heart.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Bill's life at his viewing on Monday, February 17, 2025, at Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA, from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Dominic's Church, 8504 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA, at 11:00 AM. Bill will be laid to rest at St. Dominic's Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Bill's name to the St Jude Children's Research Foundation , supporting the fight against childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

Bill will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his legacy of love, dedication, and joy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
