Bill passed away on April 14, 2018 at the age of 63 after a long battle with thyroid cancer. Son of William and the late Catherine. Beloved husband of Theresa (nee Zollner). Devoted father of Katelyn Oropeza (Luis), Matthew, Rebecca and Timothy. Cherished Pop-Pop of Jacob and Tyler Oropeza. Brother of Edward (Audrey) and the late Theresa Weeks. Bill will be missed by his family and many friends who provided such great support during this difficult time. After 41 years of service, Bill retired from the IRS in July, 2015. Bill was involved with the BSA for many years as both Cub Master and Boy Scout Leader. An avid Philadelphia sports fan; he will also be remembered for his quick wit and dry sense of humor. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Saturday 9:30-11:15 AM at St. Anselm's Church, 12670 Dunks Ferry Rd. Phila., PA followed by his Funeral Mass 11:30 AM.
