It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of William J Forbes, 73, surrounded by his family on Friday November 14, 2025 after losing to an immense battle with Cancer.

William is survived and will be missed by his loving wife Karen (née Slowinski) of 19 years; and his children, William (Susan), Kevin and stepchildren, Jennifer (Tommy), Kelli (Timmy) Megan (Ryan) and Terry (Kristen). Forever cherished and remembered by his grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents, John and Jessie Forbes.

William will be deeply missed by the students and faculty at MaST Community Charter School where he spent his days putting smiles on kids faces all while cracking jokes with fellow employees.

Although William's physical presence may no longer grace our lives, his spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us. May his memory be a blessing and a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

At the request of William, a private service will be held at a later date.
