William M. Hannigan "Bill", passed away July 17, 2024, at the age of 73.  Beloved husband of Rosemary (nee Zoltek).  Devoted father of  William (Jody) and Joseph (Paulina).  Loving Pop Pop of Keegan, Jameson, Torian, and great grandpop of Liam.  Dear brother of Joseph, Sally, Thomas, Robert, Agnes, John, Kathleen, Suzanne, and the late Mary Genevieve, Geraldine, Michael, and Patrick; son of the late Joseph and Mary Hannigan.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A retired firefighter who served the Philadelphia Fire Department after 38 years of service, rose to the rank of Captain.  He also worked prominently in the Hazmat unit and the Safety Office where he formed lifelong friendships.
