William F. Leahy passed away October 9, 2018 at the age of 78. A U.S. Navy veteran; formerly of Philadelphia and Lansdale. Son of the late Mary (nee Fox) and William Leahy. Loving father of Jennifer Persichetti (Michael), Christine Nunn, and William Leahy (Kendra). Dear grandpop of Sarah and Matthew Persichetti, Sydney and Casey Nunn, and Adam, Rachael and Abigail Leahy. Brother of Mary Ann Cataline, and the late Patricia Leahy and Richard Leahy. Bill was a graduate of Father Judge High School and LaSalle University, graduating with a BS in Accounting. He worked for Rohm and Haas, and retired from the Internal Revenue Service in 2002. Bill enjoyed listening to Big Band music, watching movies from the 1950's and 1960's, and was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Saturday, October 13, 2018, from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM at BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 9708 Frankford Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19114. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to the Parkinson's Foundation , 200 SE 1st St. Suite 800, Miami, FL 33131 would be appreciated.
