William J. Moore

William J. Moore, age 75, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2026. Beloved husband of 40 years to Patricia (née Nathan). Devoted father of Christina McGinn (Mark), Brian Moore (Nikki), Monica McCusker, Patricia Moore, William J. Moore III, and the late Christopher Moore. Cherished “Pop” of Daniel, Abigail, Juliana, and Keira. He was predeceased by his brother, John Moore, and is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Bill was a graduate of Father Judge High School and a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. Following his military service, he dedicated many years to serving his community as a police officer for the City of Philadelphia. After his retirement, he continued his commitment to public safety as a police officer for the University of Pennsylvania.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at St. Katherine of Siena Church, 9700 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19114, beginning at 9:30 AM, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.

Interment will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA 18940. Please arrive no later than 10:45 AM.
