In his 83rd year, went to heaven to join his beloved wife of 60 years, Emily Marie. He leaves behind 8 children, William D. IV (Patricia), Barbara Marinan (James), George (Juliana), Maureen Kelleher (Bryan), Mark (Monica), Michael, Patrick and Elaine Smeder (edwward); 17 grandchildren, William D. V, Colleen, Joseph, Jennifer, Denise, Lynn, James, Megan, Christopher, Matthew, David, Bryan, Mark Jr., Sean, Faith, Morgan and Emily, 3 great grandchildren, Joseph Jr., Mark III, and Ashlynn; also survived by 3 sisters, Dolores Crilly, Joan Duffy and Patricia Sheridan (Jim). Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing Friday Eve 6-9 PM and Saturday 8:30-9:15 AM at BURNS FUNERAL HOME 9708 Frankford Ave. (so. of Grant Ave.) followed by his Funeral Mass 10 AM at Christ the King Church.
