William J. Press, Sr., of Yardley, PA, a US Army Veteran, passed away May 3, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Philadelphia, William is the son of the late Thomas and Sarah Press. Beloved husband of the late Ellen Margaret Press (nee Tobin). Loving father of William Jr. (Karen), James (Diane), and Michael (Theresa). Dear Pop Pop of Bill (Ronnie), Andrew (Maria), Sara (Matt), Eric (Cassie), Ryan (Kelsey), Tyler, Laura (Eric), and 10 great grandchildren. Bill is preceded in death by his brothers and sisters. He is survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Bill was a retired employee of Rohm & Haas and a volunteer at St. Mary's. He was an avid golfer and a member of PGA-Hope; he enjoyed spending winters in Florida golfing with his friends and fishing in the pond. Bill adored his grandchildren and enjoyed watching soccer with his grandsons. He had a great sense of humor and was loved by everyone that met him. He will be sorely missed. Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Monday May 9, 2022 at St. Dominic Church, 8504 Frankford Ave. Phila., PA 19136 from 9:00-9:45 AM followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM.
