William R. Thompson passed away suddenly Dec. 16, 2020 at the age of 80. A US Navy Veteran, Bill was a lifelong resident of Philadelphia and an employee of Budd Co. for 43 years. He is the beloved husband of Dolores "Chick". Loving father of William J. (the late Deborah), Carol A. Werwinski (Nicholas), Anne M. Krajewski (Thomas), Mary E. McGinty (Shawn), and the late Christopher P. and Robert M. Dear Pop of 10 grandchildren and GG Pop to 13 ½ great grandchildren. Brother of Sandra Fitzpatrick (Raymond), Patricia Sperduto (David), Kyle Williams and the late Carol Ann Thompson. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Monday at St. Katherine of Siena Church, 9700 Frankford Ave. Phila., PA 19114 from 9:00-10:15 AM followed by his Funeral Mass 10:30 AM. Interment Our Lady of Grace Cemetery.
