Obituary

Joan Florence Scherbin (nee Davine) went home to be with the lord on September 25, 2021 at the age of 76. Loving companion of 23 years to Richard Stumpo. Beloved mother of Patrick (Elise), and Joan Pacini (Anthony). Beloved Grandma and Grammy of Claudia, Olivia, Anthony, Luciano, Jack, Giovanni and Joseph. For those who knew Joan, she will forever be remembered for her generous and fun-loving playful spirit!

Joan was a lifelong Philadelphia resident.  She was a graduate of Nazareth Academy and soon worked for the Philadelphia Gas Company.  Joan worked for the City of Philadelphia until her retirement.  After retirement, Joan became a Realtor while also volunteering at various local hospitals and food pantries.  Joan loved to travel.  She visited Europe and summered at the Jersey Shore.   She was a proud, active member of the Red Hat Society.  Also, she tried her hand at playing golf, the piano, and painting.  She enjoyed the theater and dancing to live music.  Joan will be forever loved and remembered for her generous heart, quick wit, and unwavering love and loyalty for her family and friends.
