Joseph A. Morris, age 77, passed away January 13, 2026, surrounded by his family.  Joe served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.  He was retired from PGW, as well as a Court Officer for the City of Philadelphia.

Beloved father of Eileen Morris, Nancy Belson (Richard), Megan Barnhart, and the late Maureen Samanns (Dan).  Pop-Pop of Michael (Lauren), Daniel (Rose), Joey (Rio), Sarah (Liam), Anthony (Arionna), Zachary, Jack, Shane, Cole, and Ryan.  GG Pop to Maci, Adam, Adalynn, and Rory.  Dear brother of Jim, Paul (Kathy), and Linda (Joe).  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing Friday evening, January 16, 2026, from 6:00-8:00 P.M., and Saturday morning, January 17, 2026, from 9:00-10:15 A.M. at BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 9708 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19114.  Funeral Service 10:30 A.M.  Interment Magnolia Cemetery.
